Lead full sales cycle for Luminar Engine SDK: prospecting, discovery, technical validation, pilots, closes and expansion. Hunt target verticals (real-estate, e-commerce, automotive, studios), reactivate inbound leads, run executive-level discovery, build outbound playbook, and feed product roadmap.
Skylum is the company behind Luminar Neo — an AI photo editor used by millions of people in 140+ countries.
We are launching Luminar Engine: our photographer-grade AI vision stack, packaged as an SDK for businesses.
We need a person who will work with a strong inbound and build outbound from scratch.
You will be employee #1 in sales for this business line, working directly with the VP Growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → technical validation → pilot → close → expansion.
- Hunt in our beachhead verticals: real-estate photo services, e-commerce post-production, automotive imagery, photo studios — EU and US.
- Reactivate and qualify our existing base: enterprise inbound leads, technology-licensing requests, and the users in Luminar community's B2B tail.
- Run structured discovery with COO/CTO-level buyers: unit economics and business modelling, infrastructure, pipeline integration.
- Co-create the playbook: ICP scoring, outbound sequences, pilot templates with measurable acceptance criteria, CRM discipline — from scratch.
- Feed product: every "we'd also want X" you hear becomes a paid SKU on our roadmap.
- Report directly to VP of Growth
Required experience:
- 4–6+ years of full-cycle B2B sales/BD with closed deals you sourced yourself (not inherited pipeline)
- Experience selling a technical product — SDK, API, infrastructure, developer tools, or technical SaaS — where the buyer includes a CTO or engineering lead.
- Hunter profile: you build pipeline from zero and can show the numbers.
- Consultative discovery skills: you sell to the customer's P&L, not from a feature list.
- English C1+ (all deals are in English). Ukrainian or Polish is a plus.
- Based in Warsaw or remote within EU time zones; ready for occasional travel (client visits, trade shows).
Nice to have - Domain background in imaging, DAM, photo/video tech, creative tools, real-estate tech, or e-commerce content ops.
- Experience in early-stage / first-sales-hire roles.
- Experience selling on-prem / licensed software (vs pure SaaS).
What we offer
For personal growth:
- A chance to work with a strong team and a unique opportunity to make substantial contributions to our award-winning photo editing tools;
- An educational allowance to ensure that your skills stay sharp;
- English, German and Polish classes to strengthen your capabilities and widen your knowledge.
For comfort:
- A great environment where you’ll work with true professionals and amazing colleagues whom you’ll call friends quickly;
- The choice of working remotely or in our office space located on Podil, equipped with everything you might need for productive and comfortable work.
For health:
- Medical insurance;
- Twenty-one days of paid sick leave per year;
For leisure:
- Twenty-one days of paid vacation per year;
- Fun times at our frequent team-building activities.
What to expect when you apply
- An interview with our Talent Acquisition Manager
- Professional interview with VP of Growth
- Test task to show your skills
- And finally, your job offer!
