What You Will Do:
- Assist in the development, testing, and delivery of services/products; Analyze existing offerings, prepare technical documentation, and recommend upgrades.
- Identify user/client requirements for a product or service and defining technical specifications; Prepare technical documentation and share them with senior analysts and technical teams.
- Support senior analysts by fulfilling their data requests, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance; Participate in initiatives to improve processes efficiency and employee productivity.
- Work with business partners to find creative ways to solve problems
What You Will Have:

- Business Data Analysis: Extensive knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
- Requirements Analysis: Extensive knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
- Product Design and Development: Working knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
Considerations for Top Candidates:
- Deep knowledge of Caterpillar aftermarket data, including STU, OLGA, PSEs, and CM (2+ years)
- Visual design expertise & understanding of Cat Digital design standards (2+ years)
- Proven experience in design and prototyping custom visualizations for large and complex data sets in Tableau and/or Power BI (4+ years)
- Experience leading projects from conceptualization to production
- Ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders and leaders
- Self-starter and driven while working well in team environment
- Strong attention to detail and significant experience in data validation (4+ years)
- Strong knowledge of SQL, DBT/DevOps, Excel, Snowflake, GitHub, python (4+ years)
- Inherently curious and dedicated to continuous learning
