Who We Are

We started our company to help others launch and run their own businesses, at any stage. The way we help is by keeping it simple and supporting entrepreneurs one step at a time. Put simply: our mission is to enable anyone to start, run, and grow their business while avoiding the common pitfalls that derail hopeful entrepreneurs. No more having to wade through forms, taxes, or ongoing state compliance.

We are a remote company based in Austin, Texas. We have team members from Florida to Oregon and all points in-between. Take pride in your work knowing that it shapes how people all across the country reach their goal of starting, running, and growing their business.

If the idea of helping people and working with a genuinely caring, supportive team excites you, then you’ve come to the right place.

The Role

ZenBusiness is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst who can operate as a strategic partner and who thrives in the details and drives execution  across business, data, and systems.

In this role, you will own problem spaces end-to-end—from identifying opportunities and defining solutions to driving implementation, documentation, and adoption. You will play a key role in scaling our systems and processes through data-driven insights, AI-enabled automation, and strong cross-functional leadership.

  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Systems teams to design and enhance internal tools and platforms that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and automation to improve workflows, decision-making, and customer experience.
  • Help establish scalable frameworks for AI-driven process improvement and quality measurement.
  • Own and maintain high-quality documentation in Jira.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in business systems analysis, product operations, or similar roles.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex systems and drive solutions from concept through implementation.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce and integrated business systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and system design.
  • Strong data skills (analysis, mapping, validation, KPI definition).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with AI tools and conversational analytics (e.g., analyzing user interactions, prompt optimization, workflow automation).
  • Familiarity with iPaaS/integration tools (Workato, Zapier, MuleSoft, etc.).
  • Experience with SQL and BI tools (Snowflake, Tableau, etc.).
  • Background in SaaS, customer lifecycle, or operational systems.
  • Experience with telephony, chat, or customer communication platforms.
  • Experience in high-growth startups where systems must scale rapidly.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and executes with a builder mindset
