This is a unique opportunity to own Mimecast’s national partnership with CDW. You will define and execute the national CDW strategy, lead the extended Channel team, and ensure CDW is accountable to agreed business plans. Your work will drive partner-generated pipeline, revenue growth, and long-term customer retention.

Mimecast’s Channel Organization emphasizes strategic partner planning, executive relationship leadership, and cross-functional alignment to achieve extraordinary results.

What You’ll Do:

  • National Strategy: Define and execute the CDW national strategy, including vision, GTM, and performance frameworks.
  • Leadership: Guide and align the extended Channel team on CDW programs and initiatives.
  • Business Planning: Build and manage a joint business plan with CDW, owning targets, KPIs, milestones, and accountability.
  • Executive Engagement: Maintain strong executive-level relationships across CDW and serve as primary point of escalation.
  • Pipeline Growth: Drive CDW partner-generated pipeline, net-new and expansion revenue, and exceed PG ARR and national KPIs.
  • Enablement: Deliver partner enablement strategies and programs across CDW’s sales and technical communities.
  • Alliances: Collaborate with Alliance partners to deliver joint GTM and co-sell motions with CDW.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work across Sales, Marketing, Product, and other internal teams to generate opportunities and ensure field alignment.
  • Governance: Own QBRs, executive reviews, and the full CDW business plan process.
  • Performance Insights: Monitor CDW channel performance, analyze outcomes, and provide recommendations to leadership.​

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: Proven success managing large national or strategic channel partnerships with full commercial accountability.
  • Strategy Execution: Demonstrated ability to build and deliver national partner strategies that produce measurable revenue impact.
  • Leadership: Experience guiding extended or matrixed Channel teams with consistent strategic execution.
  • Channel Expertise: Comfortable navigating direct, indirect, and alliance selling models in complex partner ecosystems.
  • Communication: Strong influencer and presenter with comfort engaging at all levels, including C‑suite.
  • Partner Knowledge: Background working with or within large national resellers (CDW experience strongly preferred).
  • Industry Knowledge: SaaS or cybersecurity background is advantageous and aligns to Mimecast’s broader channel expectations 
  • Commercial Acumen: Results-oriented approach with strong understanding of revenue, margins, and ROI.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to maintain working knowledge of Mimecast solutions and credibly support partner-facing conversations.
  • Resilience: Thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments.
  • The ideal candidate for this role will be located in the Greater Chicago area.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is $200,000 – $300,000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
