Core Knowledge & Skills: Operates independently or as a team lead, selects appropriate persistence technologies (e.g., EF, Dapper), defines source control strategies, and designs subsystem infrastructure.

AIS is supporting a new project focused on architecture and infrastructure services in the Boston/Hanscom area to support federal mission delivery. Roles are primarily remote, with Massachusetts candidates preferred and availability targeted for March/April.
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for new cloud architecture design, development and integration of new architectural features into existing cloud infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.
Lead multi-disciplined teams in the design and implementation of cybersecurity system architecture.
Able to apply cyber security standards, directives, guidance and policies to a cloud architectural framework.
Compile industry best practices and lessons learned into future iterations and new designs for the cloud hosting environment.
Provide broad based experience in the systems engineering lifecycle and specific cyber security initiatives relating to cloud architectural design and development.
Resolve cloud architecture implementation issues during integration and test. Interface with internal and external entities for various solution related activities.
Ability to develop and deliver end-to-end, complex, enterprise level solutions that meet current and future capability requirements.
Design integrated and streamlined streamlining solutions for multiple customers undertaking that provide technical and cost benefits through scaling and other attributes
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.
Able to obtain a minimum of a Secret security clearance; active Secret preferred.
Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.
Active Secret clearance (or higher).
Massachusetts-based candidate or ability to support periodic on-site needs at Leidos sites in Concord or Tewksbury, MA.
Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.
