Senior Consultant, Decision Support (Implementation)
How You’ll Make an Impact:
As a Senior Software Implementation Consultant on our Decision Support (DS) team, you will be an expert at implementing the Decision Support suite of our software, StrataJazz®. Decision Support is rated #1 in KLAS and is known as the “gold standard” for understanding cost and margins. You will partner directly with and provide guidance to key team members and executive stakeholders at the largest health systems in the world. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Independently implement significant components of StrataJazz®, specific to Cost Accounting, Service Line Margin Analytics, and Episode Analytics at multiple customers across the country.
- Implementation includes configuring the user requirements, validating functionality, building reports, developing workflows, maintaining customer satisfaction, and testing key features of the software while delivering the project on time and on budget.
- Break down complex problems and identify innovative solutions through use of analytics and experience.
- Articulate an understanding of healthcare finance, hospital administrative operations, financial management concepts, and financial statement analysis as it relates to customer needs, especially at the executive level in order to gain credibility and trust.
- Strategically communicate with all levels of Strata team members on issues and risks that may arise during the project life cycle. Develop and execute action plans to mitigate risks proactively. Drive negotiation, change management, and influence with the ability to independently lead discussions both internally and externally to drive action.
- Exhibit strong consultative communication skills resulting in success in driving customer engagement.
- Lead customer meetings and trainings to ensure customers understand specific features and functions related to StrataJazz®.
- Act as a strategic advisor to contribute to operational improvement and strategic growth projects by identifying efficiencies and process improvements to enable Strata to continue to scale operations and continually improve our level of service to customers.
- Provide feedback to the product development team regarding enhancement requests, defects, and other issues.
- Work in an Agile environment and learn one of the most widely used and effective methodologies for building and implementing high quality, feature-rich software.
- Provide mentorship to junior-level team members, including training, coaching, and consulting best practices.
- Drive operational excellence within the Client Services team and actively suggests and participates in investment projects.
What we’re looking for:
- Interest in or experience with cost accounting and healthcare finance.
- Experience independently leading customers through complex projects with a focus on timeline and budget.
- Experience implementing and configuring software.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization in a clear and articulate way.
- Advanced Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF Statements).
You’d really wow us if you have:
- Experience in healthcare consulting directly related to Decision Support
- Experience using SQL or relational database concepts
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000-115,000
Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role. In addition, Strata provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, life and accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
