THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a team that’s changing financial services

Zocks is the #1 AI assistant for financial advisors. We help advisors automate their operational work and grow their business. 5,000+ firms use Zocks to turn client conversations into completed work.

We're a venture-backed team, building something that changes how financial advisors serve their clients every day. Every role here is an opportunity to shape the product, the company, and the way an entire industry works. We hire sharp, curious, and kind people who want to do meaningful work and build something from the ground up, together.

WHO YOU ARE

The SHARC in the room

At Zocks, we hire for SHARC - five qualities that define how our best people work and win together.

S - Sharp

You move fast without cutting corners. Quick decisions, thoughtful execution - you know when to act independently and when to loop in leadership.

H - Hungry

You're a self-starter who celebrates teammates as loudly as your own wins. Humble hustle is your default mode.

A - Adaptable

Startup life means things shift fast. You lean into change, pivot gracefully, and genuinely enjoy figuring out what's next.

R - Resilient

Building something new isn't always smooth. You bounce back stronger, see obstacles as puzzles, and never lose sight of the bigger picture.

C - Curious

You ask the questions others miss. You explore for fun, not just for work - and it shows in the quality of your thinking.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with home office, branch, or regional leadership at large RIAs, broker-dealers, banks, and insurance organizations
  • Implement practice management offering based on selected strategy and engagement
  • Execute on strategic goals that align with corporate initiatives, including the creation of firm-wide programs and best practice content collaboration
  • Travel to firm headquarters, industry conferences, and partner events to lead live practice management sessions and represent Zocks as a subject-matter expert

Your day-to-day

1. Enterprise Strategy & Executive Engagement

  • Home Office Partnership: Serve as the practice management consultant to align Zocks with firm-level initiatives (e.g., organic growth, retention) across home office, branch, or regional leadership structures
  • Success Roadmapping: Design multi-phase rollout strategies for large organizations. Identify which advisor or producer segments to target first, and define what "success" looks like at the organizational level
  • Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the enterprise client to our Product team, surfacing critical feature needs

2. Program Design & Scalable Content

  • "One-to-Many" Enablement: Collaborate with enterprise leadership to design scalable programs for their advisors or producers, including best practice content and webinars
  • Content Architecture: Own the creation of high-level thought leadership and practice management assets, including "Best Practice" playbooks
  • Curriculum Development: Define learning paths and maturity models for different user personas

3. In-Person Engagement

  • Live Facilitation: Deliver in-person and virtual sessions tailored to each firm's advisors and producers
  • Industry Presence: Represent Zocks at industry conferences and firm-hosted events, delivering presentations on practice management and AI adoption
  • Travel periodically to meet with clients and attend industry conferences (approximately 2x/month, with heavier travel during spring and fall conference seasons)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Expertise

  • 3-5+ years of experience within an RIA, Broker-Dealer, Bank, or Insurance environment, with a proven track record of managing complex industry workflows and the end-to-end client lifecycle
  • Deep familiarity with implementing scalable client processes and advisory-focused practice models
  • Program Management: Proven ability to build adoption programs and iterate on existing engagements; experience launching initiatives that impact high volume audiences.
  • Consultative Approach: Comfortable leading discovery workshops with stakeholders; able to diagnose operational inefficiencies (workflow, tech stack, staffing) and collaborate on a scalable solution
  • Strategic Storytelling: Able to take complex data or technical concepts and craft a narrative that drives action - summarizing at the leadership level while also comfortable working "in the weeds" as needed
  • Enterprise Fluency: Familiarity with the complex compliance, security, and integration requirements of large financial institutions, including CRM and wealth management technology platforms

Working Style & Mindset

  • A self-starter who takes ownership without waiting for detailed instructions - you dive in, figure it out, and course-correct as needed
  • Someone who is process-oriented by instinct but genuinely comfortable operating without a fully defined roadmap
  • Strong data analysis skills - comfort identifying patterns and translating data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Confidence and presence presenting to groups, including senior stakeholders
  • Experience with CRM platforms in a banking or financial services context
  • Based in or able to work core hours aligned with Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones, given our concentration of East Coast client firms

Bonus qualifications

  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment
  • PMP or other relevant certifications - progress over perfection with enacting discipline
  • Fluency in wealth management technology platforms & data analysis
