Joining our team means being part of a passionate group focused on transforming how companies understand and connect with their customers.

Let’s build experiences people love—together.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to shape how UserTesting tells its story across the entire customer journey—from first discovery through adoption and advocacy. You’ll develop connected content experiences that help audiences understand complex topics, make informed decisions, and see the value of human insight in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

A key part of the role will be building original, research-driven thought leadership that strengthens UserTesting’s position in AI model training, AI evaluation, AI agents, and human insight. You’ll identify emerging conversations, develop differentiated perspectives, and turn technical concepts and original research into content that informs the market.

Working cross-functionally with Solution Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Success, Sales, Product Management, Executive Leadership, and other subject matter experts—as well as customers, analysts, agencies, and research partners—you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on content creation. You’ll also have the opportunity to take on greater strategic ownership as the role and category evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute, in partnership with Solution Marketing, an integrated content strategy spanning the entire customer lifecycle—from awareness and discovery through consideration, purchase, adoption, and customer advocacy.

  • Create connected content journeys that move audiences from one stage to the next, ensuring assets build on one another rather than existing as standalone pieces.

  • Partner with Solution Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Success, Sales, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to create a clear, consistent narrative across customer touchpoints.

  • Develop original thought leadership that strengthens UserTesting’s position in AI model training, AI evaluation, AI agents, human insight, and other emerging areas.

  • Lead research-driven content—including industry reports, quantitative studies, benchmark reports, executive perspectives, and trend analyses—partnering with research firms, analysts, agencies, customers, and internal subject matter experts to bring credible, differentiated perspectives to the market.

  • Identify emerging trends and translate them into timely, relevant content that helps UserTesting develop a distinctive point of view and shape the category.

  • Create high-impact content across formats, including research reports, articles, website and solution copy, customer stories, executive bylines and LinkedIn content, sales enablement materials, webinars and events, email campaigns, videos, guides, and other campaign assets.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for AI leaders, product teams, researchers, designers, developers, and executive decision-makers while maintaining a high standard of editorial quality and consistency.

  • Use modern AI tools across research, drafting, editing, optimization, and content repurposing to improve efficiency, while applying strong editorial judgment to ensure the work remains original, accurate, credible, and valuable.

  • Monitor performance across engagement, pipeline influence, customer adoption, and business impact, using audience insights, campaign results, and market feedback to continuously improve the content strategy.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, product marketing, editorial, journalism, or a related field, ideally within SaaS or enterprise technology.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex technical concepts clear and compelling without oversimplifying them.

  • Experience developing content across the full customer journey, with a strong understanding of messaging frameworks and buyer journeys.

  • Experience creating executive thought leadership, original research, quantitative studies, benchmark reports, market reports, or other research-driven content.

  • Familiarity with AI technologies, large language models, AI application development, AI evaluation, agentic AI, or adjacent technical domains. Experience creating content in these areas is strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of AI-assisted content workflows, with the editorial judgment to balance efficiency with originality, quality, accuracy, and credibility.

  • Strong collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to work across teams and with agencies, analysts, researchers, customers, subject matter experts, and executives while managing multiple priorities.

  • An analytical, growth-oriented mindset—you use performance data to improve your work, take ownership, flag issues early, and are excited to take on increasing strategic responsibility over time.

Don’t meet every single requirement but excited about the role? We encourage you to apply. Research shows that some candidates are less likely to apply unless they meet 100% of the qualifications—but you may be exactly who we’re looking for. Diverse perspectives drive innovation, and we’re committed to building a team with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and skills.
