As a Senior Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Technical Architect, you are the technical voice and strategic partner for our sales organization, driving security-focused business development for professional services and managed security services (MSS) across our target accounts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with security leaders, CISOs, risk officers, and technical decision- makers at target and existing accounts

• Identify and drive expansion opportunities for professional services and managed security services (MSS) within existing and target accounts

• Design and architect comprehensive security solutions across professional services (assessments, penetration testing, compliance audits) and managed security services delivery models

• Engage customers as a trusted advisor to understand security challenges, compliance requirements, risk posture, and business objectives; translate these into compelling technical solutions and value propositions

• Collaborate with professional services, MSS delivery teams, and solution partners to develop market-driven security services offerings and tailor solutions to customer environments

• Scope and articulate defined requirements, proposed solutions, and value propositions into detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), technical architecture blueprints, and RFP responses

• Present and articulate security solutions and value propositions to diverse stakeholders—technical teams, business executives, and C-suite—with clarity and business acumen

• Maintain deep knowledge of the security landscape, threat environment, regulatory frameworks, and vendor ecosystem to inform customer discussions and internal strategy

• Stay current with security trends, threat intelligence, regulatory changes, and vendor offerings; provide market insights to sales and delivery teams to inform strategy and customer engagement

• Develop business cases and financial models for security investments (ROI, TCO, risk mitigation value); help customers justify security spending to leadership

• Serve as the voice of customer, providing market feedback to product and delivery teams to inform service development, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement

• Drive cross-functional collaboration between sales, delivery (professional services and MSS), offering management, and marketing to develop and deliver market-driven security solutions and services

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline with a focus or major in cybersecurity/information security - MUST HAVE

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT and cybersecurity experience, with at least 2 years in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or presales engineering - MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in customer-facing roles; comfortable presenting technical and business solutions to all organizational levels, including executives - MUST HAVE

• Working experience with a Managed Security Services provider (MSSP) or familiarity with Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and 24/7 security monitoring - MUST HAVE

• Technical knowledge of security technologies across multiple domains: firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection, SIEM, DLP, cloud security, endpoint protection, and familiarity with vendor ecosystem (Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Cisco, IBM, Splunk, Fortinet, etc.) - MUST HAVE

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex security concepts in customer- friendly language - MUST HAVE

• Professional security certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC (GCIH, GSEC), CEH, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent - HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Experience designing and proposing security consulting services: penetration testing, security assessments, vulnerability assessments, PCI compliance audits, and security policy development - HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Experience developing security solution architectures and responding to large-scale, complex RFPs and technical questionnaires - HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and hybrid security architectures - HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements: GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST, CSF, industry-specific regulations - HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Knowledge of modern threat landscape: cyber kill chains, MITRE ATT&CK framework, threat modeling, and attack surface analysis - HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Experience with security service delivery models and SLAs; understanding of KPIs for MSS and professional services - HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Track record of identifying and closing mid-to-large security services deals with complex sales cycles - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
