You will work cross-functionally with software, robotics, operations, and product teams to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and actionable across the organization.

This is a highly impactful opportunity for someone who enjoys building systems from the ground up and wants significant ownership over the future of data architecture at a fast-growing startup. As our first hire in this realm, you will play a foundational role in shaping how data flows throughout the organization while working on cutting-edge autonomous robotic technology generating real-world operational data.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, and want direct impact on company-wide decision making, this is an opportunity to help define and scale the future of our data platform.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest and process large volumes of operational and machine-generated data
  • Architect and manage the company’s data warehouse and overall data infrastructure strategy
  • Develop reliable systems for data collection, transformation, storage, and retrieval
  • Create scalable data models that support analytics, business intelligence, operational monitoring, and future machine learning applications
  • Partner closely with software, robotics, product, and operations teams to define data requirements and improve data accessibility
  • Implement data quality, governance, observability, and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity and reliability
  • Optimize database and warehouse performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Build tools and infrastructure to support reporting, dashboards, and internal analytics workflows
  • Help establish best practices around data architecture, pipeline reliability, documentation, and engineering standards
  • Support future real-time and streaming data initiatives across connected robotic systems

What You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, or backend infrastructure engineering roles
  • Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines in production environments
  • Deep understanding of modern data warehouse architecture and data modeling principles
  • Strong programming experience in Python, SQL, and/or other backend-oriented languages
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience with technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, or similar modern data stack tools
  • Strong understanding of database design, query optimization, and distributed data systems
  • Experience handling large-scale, high-volume datasets from connected devices, IoT systems, or operational platforms is a plus
  • Ability to operate independently and drive technical architecture decisions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments

At 10Beauty, we consider a wide-range of factors when determining compensation, based on individual qualifications, skills, and experience. Equity and benefits are included for all full-time employees. If you believe you can contribute to our team, we invite you to apply. We appreciate diversity and welcome those who can bring fresh perspectives and skills to our team.
