The Balance of the Role

While this role requires strong motion capabilities, it is primarily a visual design position. Your time will typically be split as follows:

  • 80–85% Traditional & Digital Visual Design: Concepting, brand development, layout, static campaign assets, and Figma design.
  • 15–20% Motion & Animation: Creating cutting-edge motion graphics, video editing, storyboarding, and dynamic content.

Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll do in a typical day:

  • Collaborative campaign concepting and development: Drive the visual design of our clients’ marketing campaigns in collaboration with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and digital marketing specialists.
  • Solve problems visually: Turn strategy and data into strong visual executions while collaborating with copywriters to determine ideal hierarchy and messaging for conversion.
  • Advancing motion design: Create cutting-edge motion graphics and video content that captivate and engage our clients' audiences across digital platforms.
  • Producing cutting-edge video assets: Lead projects from conception through to final production, ensuring a cohesive visual style that aligns with client brand and campaign goals.
  • Storyboard and concept development: Develop detailed storyboards and visual concepts that clearly communicate creative ideas to team members and clients.
  • Present work to clients: Share your ideas and design work in client facing presentations, along with rationale and strategy with how you arrived there.
  • Make an impact: Be proactive and thoughtful in making recommendations to our clients and produce memorable work that’s rewarding and delivers results.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in both visual and motion design, with a compelling portfolio showcasing a wide range of skills in the digital space
  • A profound ability to craft stories and concepts through design and motion, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of timing and visual aesthetics.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, lnDesign After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Confidence in leading projects and presenting creative ideas to stakeholders.
  • A driven, organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new techniques and technologies.
  • Experience across B2B and B2C campaigns.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5 years of professional experience, and a solid portfolio submitted with their resume.
