The Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a high-impact, client-facing engineering role requiring deep technical expertise and hands-on experience. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring resilient, scalable environments across multi-cloud platforms.

This role is ideal for a proactive, self-directed engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, takes ownership, and is comfortable communicating directly with stakeholders to drive the right outcomes.


You will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, and other CSPs.
  • Managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters and compute environments.
  • Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Managing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring seamless deployment automation.
  • Collaborating daily with the Virtasant & Client engineering teams to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and implement infrastructure solutions.
  • Operating independently to identify technical needs and proactively develop solutions.
  • Balancing infrastructure scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.

Your Background & Expertise

Technical Expertise

  • AWS experience (must-have)
  • Kubernetes expertise
  • Strong Terraform skills (non-negotiable)
  • CI/CD pipeline management and tooling familiarity
  • Multi-cloud experience a plus (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
  • Hands-on engineering across cloud infrastructure and automation

Consulting & Communication

  • Experience collaborating with client-side stakeholders
  • Ability to articulate infrastructure solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable working independently in distributed, remote teams

Preferred Industry & Business Background

  • Cloud Consulting & Professional Services – Infrastructure design, deployment, and operations
