The Opportunity:We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design and implementation of DevOps systems across multiple programs. This role is focused on solving complex integration and automation challenges in specialized, air-gapped environments. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of devops artifacts and the automation of manual processes to support our development teams.Responsibilities:
- Design and develop DevOps systems specifically tailored to support multiple programs operating in air-gapped environments.
- Manage the configuration of program dependencies within containerized environments to ensure stability and reproducibility.
- Create and maintain customized Dockerfiles to support various development activities and environment requirements.
- Identify and execute automation opportunities across the devops lifecycle to improve team efficiency.
- Oversee the tagging, packaging, and aggregation of all devops artifacts to maintain a rigorous supply chain.
- An active Top Secret clearance.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems automation, or DevOps roles.
- Proven experience designing DevOps workflows for air-gapped or restricted network environments.
- Strong proficiency in containerization, specifically in creating and managing Dockerfiles and managing docker compose and dockerfiles.
- Demonstrated experience with automated configuration management for complex software dependencies.
- Expertise in artifact management, including systematic tagging, packaging, and aggregation.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python or Bash) to automate devops lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with Gitlab CI/CD, cmake, crosstool-ng.
- An active SCI-level clearance.
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent technical programs with distinct DevOps requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of containerized environment security and dependency mapping.
- Background in streamlining manual processes into automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with and leading SCRUM teams.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
