This role manages the strategic direction and tactical execution of cross functional initiatives of the Digital Sales and Marketing (DSM) Organization. This role partners closely with Marketing, Market Teams, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to ensure that the DSM org is positioned to capture acquisition and growth of the digital consumer.
Essential Functions
- Define and develop company-wide strategy of digital transformation across customer experience, sales, marketing, and business units.
- Work with marketing and business units to identify initiatives that deepen the digital customer experience in a way that is cohesive and builds upon the larger Paychex strategy.
- Oversee the creation, technical development, and execution of high impact digital solutions.
- Drive UX/UI strategy of solutions, in collaboration with stakeholders, to create prototypes and designs that support the buyer journey.
- Support implementation of solutions by coordinating execution teams and plans across internal/external partners.
- Provide digital strategy guidance and governance to Business Units.
- Communicate digital strategy and initiatives to company and Executive Committee.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in digital strategy, digital marketing, product management, and/or marketing of digital experiences (in house or agency)
- End-to-end experience shipping apps or websites required
- Familiarity with website/product lifecycle development from ideation to execution
- Experience developing requirements, writing functional specs
- Ability to manage/work closely with technical teams
- Advanced experience managing UX/UI teams and tools, wireframing, prototyping
- Ability to conduct user interviews
- A customer-centric approach to product design
- Ability to cultivate key relationships and influence across the entire org
- Excellent communication skills
- Stays informed of latest innovations in tech

The band range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, education, experience, training, certifications, internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role; and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
The range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000.
