We are looking for a qualified and self-motivated individual to join our Property Sales Team as a Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships. This person will need to have experience working in partnerships for a National Governing Body, USOPC and/or Olympics.  Leading up to the LA 2028 Olympics, this person will play a leading role in growing this area of our business and will need to have applicable experience selling significant sponsorships and possess strong contacts in the National Governing Body and Olympic space. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business vertical within the property team managing the initial client relationship and future growth of our Olympic and National Governing Body area of business
  • Drive new business sponsorship sales for a growing list of National Governing Body and Olympic clients that PIVOT represents 
  • Leverage existing NGB contacts and national corporate relationships to drive incremental foundational level partnerships leading up to the LA 2028 Olympics 
  • Provide consultative commercial rights strategy to National Governing Body clients, inclusive of IP, Licensing, Hospitality, Partnership and Activation opportunities
  • Lead sales presentations to prospective clients, including both in-person meetings and phone calls
  • Lead outbound sales efforts to effectively create and cultivate opportunities for primary NGB clients
  • Manage and train business development executives as well as assist in daily client and prospect communication
  • Cross-sell clients across multiple PIVOT properties, brand, hospitality, and other verticals
  • Lead sales presentations to prospective clients, including both in-person meetings and phone calls
  • Lead outbound sales efforts to effectively create and cultivate opportunities for primary NGB clients
  • Effectively manage one's own book of business, including prospecting, lead origination, proposal development, and closing business 
  • Directly manage accounts and relationships, acting as the main point of contact between PIVOT clients and the PIVOT sales team
  • Set an example and be a leader within the property sales division while managing direct reports
  • Lead all executive-level communication with new and existing clients
  • Provide regular progress reports on business development goals and new business outreach 
  • Assist the PIVOT executive staff on special projects as requested 

Job Performance Evaluation:

  • Consistently meets and exceeds individual revenue goals on behalf of property clients
  • Daily sales activity, including new prospective client outreach, client meetings, proposals, etc.
  • Effectively communicates to senior leadership on sales outreach activity and individual revenue pipeline projections
  • Acts in best interest of company objectives and works well with fellow team members and senior leadership
  • Uses sound judgment in representing the company’s values and objectives inside and outside of the office

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or other related disciplines
  • 5-7+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, marketing and business development with a National Governing Body or USOPC
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of sports sponsorship landscape
  • Existing book of business and industry relationships

  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail, organization and efficiency
  • Experience using MS Office, Salesforce and Google Suite
