The Sr. Director of Enterprise Data and Analytics for Healthcare Analytics Solutions (HAS) serves as a critical strategic partner and advocate, bridging the gap between HAS and the broader Quest Technology (QT) organization. This leader will proactively champion HAS needs, foster strategic collaboration across QT's verticals, and drive the successful delivery of data and analytics solutions. Rather than directly managing all execution, this role focuses on influencing partners, removing systemic obstacles, and ensuring HAS priorities and timelines are integrated into enterprise-wide plans. This individual is a key liaison, providing the HAS team with timely, relevant information from QT and ensuring that critical, cross-functional initiatives receive the internal championship needed to succeed.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic Collaboration & Influence
- Act as a primary champion for HAS within the QT organization, building strong partnerships to ensure our needs are understood, prioritized, and met.
- Proactively engage with QT teams during the selection of enterprise platforms to ensure HAS requirements and timelines are incorporated into their strategic roadmaps.
- Drive progress on critical, high-consequence initiatives (e.g., EMPI, Life Sciences SFDC) that are prone to drift, providing the necessary internal advocacy to ensure they gain traction and are successfully delivered.
- Systematically identify and remove organizational and technical obstacles by fostering collaboration and escalating to senior leadership when necessary.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Define and implement data governance strategies for data supporting HAS, ensuring adherence to regulatory and QT organizational policies.
- Partner with data analysts, IT, and business leaders to develop and enforce data management best practices for HAS.
- Lead initiatives to enhance data controls (quality, lineage, cataloging, security, privacy protection) for data used by Healthcare Analytics Solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal governance frameworks relevant to Healthcare Analytics Solutions data.
Analytics & Data Strategy
- Champion the strategic consolidation of data science work and associated technologies (e.g., AI models) into the HAS organization to centralize expertise and technology.
- Partner with data science and analytics teams to improve the availability, accessibility, and usability of data for HAS.
- Oversee programs that enhance data and analytics capabilities for HAS, including data engineering and data architecture.
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making by providing guidance on analytics strategies and tools in the context of HAS.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between HAS leadership and partners across QT, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Champion the goal of achieving "super-user" status for HAS, advocating for the necessary permissions and freedom to operate efficiently as a trusted technology partner.
- Translate business needs from HAS into actionable plans and advocate for their inclusion in the QT portfolio.
- Communicate program status, key risks, and milestones to C-suite and senior leadership, specifically regarding the HAS portfolio.
Team Management & Mentorship
- Manage and mentor project and program managers within the Quest Technology EDA function, fostering professional growth and leadership development, particularly in the context of supporting HAS.
- Provide coaching on project management methodologies, data governance frameworks, and analytics best practices relevant to HAS.
- Support team members in developing learning plans and career progression strategies.

- Oversee activities of other project work stream managers
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide programs in data management, analytics, and/or governance.
- Demonstrated success in driving data governance initiatives and implementing regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with data management, business intelligence (BI) tools, data lake, analytics and AI platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform software
- Strong background in process improvement, program execution, and stakeholder management.
- Prior experience in healthcare, finance, or other regulated industries is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree required (BS/BA in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field). (Required)
- Master’s Degree Master’s degree or MBA (Preferred)
People Leader Responsibility:
- Role will work withing a highly matrixed organization with some people leader responsibility.
Licenses and Certifications
- Formal training in project management or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, Lean, Theory of Constraints) (Preferred)
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)
