Silver Star Technology is a division of Silver Star Protection Group specializing in low-voltage system installations, security integration, structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and technology solutions for commercial and client-based environments. Our team supports a wide range of industries through professional installation services, technical support, and project-based deployments across multiple locations.

Position Summary

Silver Star is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Technology Operations to lead and scale our national technology division. Reporting directly to the President, this executive will have full responsibility for the operational, financial, and strategic performance of the division. The Senior Director will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence and accountability, requiring minimal day-to-day oversight. The Senior Director will be expected to quickly learn company-specific policies, procedures, and strategic priorities while independently driving results. This role requires a proven business operator capable of growing revenue, improving profitability, developing high-performing teams, establishing scalable systems, and positioning Silver Star as a market leader in technology-enabled security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership

· Lead all aspects of Silver Star Technology operations.

· Develop and execute annual and multi-year growth strategies.

· Build a scalable organizational structure capable of supporting rapid expansion.

· Establish accountability standards, performance expectations, and leadership development initiatives.

· Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and executive leadership team.

Financial & Business Management

· Own full P&L responsibility for the technology division.

· Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and capital planning initiatives.

· Drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability targets.

· Monitor and improve gross margin, labor efficiency, project profitability, and recurring revenue performance.

· Develop business strategies that support both organic growth and market expansion.

Technology Operations

· Oversee all technology operations including

o Access Control Systems

o Video Surveillance Systems

o Intrusion Detection Systems

o AI Security Platforms

o Remote Monitoring Solutions

o Drone and Emerging Technology Programs

o Security System Integrations

· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.

· Develop standardized operational processes and quality control procedures.

· Oversee technical teams, project managers, field personnel, and vendor relationships.

Performance & KPI Management

· Establish and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting systems.

· Track key metrics including,

o Revenue Growth

o Gross Margin

o Project Completion Rates

o Labor Utilization

o Customer Retention

o Service Response Times

o Recurring Revenue Growth

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on measurable outcomes.

Business Development & Strategic Growth

· Partner with Sales and Executive Leadership to identify new market opportunities.

· Develop strategies to expand service offerings and increase market share.

· Build relationships with key clients, vendors, and industry partners.

· Identify emerging technologies that create competitive advantages for Silver Star.

Requirements

  

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of executive leadership experience within technology integration, security technology, infrastructure systems, or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-million-dollar business units.
• Proven P&L ownership and accountability.
• Proven history of revenue growth and profitability improvement.
• Experience building and scaling operational teams.
• Deep knowledge of security technologies and systems integration.
• Strong understanding of business operations, project management, and financial performance management.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a business builder, not simply a technical expert.

This individual has successfully led technology organizations, owned financial performance, developed leaders, established scalable operational systems, and driven measurable growth. They are comfortable making decisions independently, holding teams accountable, and producing results without extensive executive direction.

Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, profitability, operational excellence, team development, customer retention, and the successful scaling of Silver Star Technology into a nationally recognized technology services organization.
