What you'll be responsible for:
Circle is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to lead, as a Senior Director, for our Industry Marketing and Account Based Marketing functions. This person will be based in the United States, but will have a global remit. This role will report to the VP of Growth Marketing, and will be the primary point of liaison with our global Business Development leadership for all pre-Sales Demand Generation initiatives. This leader will have the dual responsibility of developing our account centric demand generation plan across multiple products, verticals, channels, and geographies, as well as our Industry and deal specific positioning initiatives across key focus verticals (Payments, Banking), to deliver pre-Sales consideration and pipeline.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual with a strong marketing background and a deep understanding of ABM practices in the context of Fintech / Financial Services / Payments. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Content, Creative Labs, Sales Development, Field Marketing, and Marketing Operations. Your team will be entrusted to develop and implement customized deal centric positioning for pre-sales prospecting and deal maturation. You will effectively build the strategy and approach to map product messages against customer needs to drive effective engagement with target markets. Your ability to manage high-powered stakeholders will be integral to your success in this role.
What you'll work on:
In a nutshell - you will be the pre-Sales liaison between Growth Marketing and the BD team.
  • Ownership from a Marketing action and outcome standpoint for our global pipeline mix and conversion funnel for our core products.
  • Development of deal-specific positioning and collateral in our target industry verticals (not limited to, but beginning with Payments and Banking verticals). This will leverage canonical positioning developed by the Product Marketing team to create pitch and education-centric narratives..
  • Significant stakeholder interactions with Revenue leadership to understand signals and gain feedback on prospect interactions.
  • Ownership of target account lists across the intersection of products, industries, and geographies, in conjunction with our Revenue Strategy organization.
  • Supervision and strategy around our target account Account based marketing engagements, including interactions with the SDR teams.
  • Managing ABM budget allocation in partnership with Performance Marketing & other peers.
  • Collaborating with marketing operations to refine tactics and content mix based on campaign activity, outcomes, and identified opportunities.

What you'll bring to Circle:
Core Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in one or more areas across Industry Marketing, Account Based Marketing, Demand Generation, strategic go-to-market, or product/partner marketing
  • Industry experience in at least one vertical amongst Payments, Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial infrastructure verticals.
  • 5+ years of people management experience, as well as 5+ years of experiences partnering with Sales and Business Development teams,
  • Expertise in B2B campaign design and deployment, message development & results analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for complex, technical products.
  • Robust knowledge of how money moves in a global construct
  • High integrity, curiosity, and a proactive approach to leadership in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Requirements
  • Understanding of how fintech / crypto infrastructure facilitates the automation and acceleration of money movement, storage, and access.
  • Exceptional time management and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed.
  • Demonstrated success navigating complex business environments and driving efficient and effective execution.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range: $220,000 - $275,000
