What You’ll Do:

We're looking for a Senior Director, Sales to join our team in Chicago!

We’re looking for a Senior Director of Sales to join our growing commercial organization and lead a team of Account Executives across key holding companies in Chicago as well as the larger territory of Minneapolis and Wisconsin. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this highly visible leadership role will drive regional revenue growth, expand strategic partnerships, and coach a high-performing sales team responsible for a significant portion of the business.

The ideal candidate is a proven revenue and people leader with deep expertise across the programmatic ecosystem, including Managed Service, PMPs, Hybrid, CTV, OLV, and Display, along with strong agency and brand relationships. This person will play a critical role in shaping market strategy, growing market share, strengthening executive partnerships, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

This role requires strong executive presence, strategic thinking, operational rigor, and a passion for building teams, solving complex business challenges, and delivering meaningful client and company results....all while having fun, celebrating wins, and building a team culture people want to be part of!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives across the Central region

  • Drive new business growth and account expansion across Nexxen’s product suite and enterprise solutions

  • Build and deepen executive-level relationships with agencies, brands, and key partners

  • Develop strategic account plans, guide complex negotiations, and support sellers throughout the sales cycle

  • Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

  • Use data, audience insights, and market intelligence to shape sales strategy and uncover growth opportunities

  • Represent Nexxen’s differentiated capabilities through client meetings, presentations, conferences, and industry events

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketing, Client Success, and Commercial leadership to drive seamless execution

  • Recruit, hire, mentor, and retain top sales talent while fostering accountability, collaboration, and innovation

  • Serve as a senior leader within the Central Commercial organization, helping drive culture, communication, and operational excellence

What Will I Bring?

  • 4+ years Sales Management experience preferably within an Ad Tech organization.

  • 10+ years' experience in digital advertising sales, preferably programmatic.

  • Superior client management skills with a track record of success.

  • Experience selling to Independent Ad Agencies and HoldCo's.

  • Consistent track record of selling a programmatic digital media offering, while achieving personal and team goals.

  • Strategic skills in directing a team of sellers; understanding sales analytics; and setting each individual contributor up for success.

  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, DMP, or other online advertising technology companies.

  • History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Passion for increasing customer happiness and deepening customer relationships.

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 at the time of posting. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. We offer a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, unlimited vacation, and company-paid holidays.
