Position details

This position is for experienced professionals with 8-10 years of experience in DOT NET full-stack application development.

           

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoot technical problems as needed.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platform according to changing requirements and following established processes and procedures.
  • Lead in designing, developing, coding, and/or enhancing applications, features, infrastructure and/or application frameworks.
  • Build and develop REST APIs and SOAP Services to integrate with other systems.
  • Batch job development & Windows services development.
  • Provide guidance and technical instruction to junior level engineers.
  • Test, debug, and/or oversee the testing and validation of applications to ensure that quality and functionality are in line with the requirements, as well as industry security standards and protocols. 
  • Resolve production defects within defined SLA.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors’ Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.

• Minimum 8-10 years of developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services, and back end/database)

• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams developing and supporting modern web-based applications.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science and Software Engineering.
  • Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred

Technical Skill requirements

  • Must have skills
    • Experience with C#, .NET Framework, .Net Core and Entity Framework/EF-Core
    • Experience of RDBMS technologies, MS SQL Server/Oracle.
    • Experience with Web application development using DOT NET.
    • Experience with Web application deployment and IIS (Internet Information services)
    • Experience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs using .NET Core (6/7/8).
    • Experience with JavaScript & jQuery.
    • Experience with RDBMS based databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
    • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams developing and supporting modern web-based applications.
  • Good to have Skills
    • Experience of ReactJS/Angular.
    • Experience of API Gateways and related integration.
    • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
    • Experience with agile development processes and practices (e.g., Scrum)
    • Knowledgeable in DevOps tools.
    • Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

Soft Skill requirements

Fairly good verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team. Adaptability & Proactive mindset in working. Initiative taking mindset from previous experience. Skills towards Problem Analyzing & Solving.
