Phillips Lytle has an excellent reputation and a roster of high-profile clients including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in industries such as telecommunications, technology, energy, nanotechnology, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences.


The Energy and Renewables Team seeks to hire a senior attorney (Chicago) with eight or more years of experience handling regulatory matters related to the energy sector. Candidates should have experience practicing before a state public utility commission and/or handling issues involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of Energy, and/or New York Independent System Operator (or other similar Regional Transmission Organization). Prior work experience within the government or at a utility or energy company is a plus, but not required. Ideal candidates will have portable business and a demonstrated ability to originate and maintain strong client relationships.

Annual salary range for this position is $200,000 - $350,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on location, experience, volume and nature of portable business, or other job-related factors permitted by law.
