Position Summary

CBTS is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to play a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis across the organization. This role will partner closely with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to provide data-driven insights that support growth, profitability, and operational excellence within a technology and professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, pricing, and investment decisions
  • Prepare and present executive-level financial reporting, including variance analysis, KPIs, and business insights
  • Analyze revenue performance, cost structures, margins, and utilization across professional services, managed services, and recurring revenue models
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate new business opportunities, contracts, and pricing strategies
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accuracy of financial results
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities; proactively provide recommendations to leadership
  • Improve and automate financial reporting processes and tools to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, scenario analysis, advanced formulas)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior leadership
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a technology, IT services, SaaS, or professional services organization
  • Experience with recurring revenue, project-based services, and utilization-based models
  • Proficiency with financial systems and BI tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
