Summary:

In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Finance Business Partner team supporting Data & Digital, a $350 million SaaS division and shared services organization. You will partner with finance leadership across the Office of the CFO and collaborate with cross-functional clients to drive financial planning, performance analysis, strategic decision-making, and business growth. You will develop financial insights, support investment decisions, and contribute to initiatives that enhance operational and financial performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Lead components of the annual budget process and periodic forecast updates.
  • Analyze revenue, expense, and profitability drivers, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Evaluate SaaS performance metrics, including bookings, renewals, churn, and margins, to support growth and profitability objectives.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather planning inputs and monitor performance against key performance indicators.
  • Analyze and forecast cloud spending in partnership with FinOps teams and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations, reporting packages, and financial analyses for senior leadership and board-level discussions.
  • Support financial due diligence, valuation analysis, investment cases, and post-acquisition performance tracking.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives focused on pricing, cost optimization, process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or related disciplines.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate actionable insights to diverse audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • Experience with financial systems, planning applications, business intelligence tools, or SQL preferred.
  • Knowledge of SaaS business models, recurring revenue metrics, and profitability analysis preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.
