8x8 is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing team in Cebu, Philippines. In this role, you will focus on developing exceptional user interfaces for our SaaS products, collaborating closely with global colleagues from Singapore, Europe, and North America within our dynamic, agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and Redux based on provided designs and wireframes.

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient, and maintainable frontend code.

• Optimize frontend components to achieve maximum performance across diverse devices and browsers.

• Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality within the team.

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).

• Continuously improve code quality, contributing proactively to innovation and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale frontend applications.

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer, with extensive expertise in ReactJS and Redux.

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript.

• Familiarity with other frontend frameworks (AngularJS, VueJS) is beneficial.

• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.

• Experience with frontend test automation frameworks at unit and integration levels.

• Knowledge of backend technologies, such as Java and Spring Boot, will be a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of web security practices (JWT, OAuth) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD practices (Jenkins or GitHub), and SaaS product development is a plus.

• Eager to learn, ambitious, and enthusiastic about innovation and continuous improvement.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Passionate about producing high-quality software solutions.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
