We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a cross-functional Data Applications team supporting the modernization and sustainment of secure healthcare data platforms within the Defense Health Agency ecosystem. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and enhance responsive enterprise applications that integrate complex backend data environments with accessible, human-centered user experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, data engineers, platform teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that meet strict performance, accessibility, and security standards within a regulated federal environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design and enhance secure, user-facing data applications supporting enterprise healthcare platforms
- Develop frontend/backend components that integrate data services, analytics tools, & identity systems
- Implement responsive interfaces aligned with accessibility and HCD principles
- Collaborate with UX teams to translate wireframes into production-ready application features
- Integrate analytics dashboards and reporting capabilities into application workflows
- Support application sustainment, defect resolution, and iterative feature delivery using SAFe Agile practices
- Work with platform teams to deploy/maintain apps within Software Factory environments
- Ensure applications align with security, interoperability, and compliance expectations across DHA systems
- Experience developing full-stack applications using modern frameworks such as React or Angular
- Strong backend integration experience using REST APIs, SQL Server, and API-driven architectures
- Experience integrating healthcare or enterprise data platforms, including familiarity with SMART on FHIR or similar interoperability standards
- Experience building accessible interfaces aligned with Section 508 or WCAG standards
- Familiarity with analytics integrations such as Tableau or Qlik within application workflows
- Experience working within secure environments implementing CAC, SSO, or MFA authentication patterns
- Understanding of Agile delivery models such as SAFe Agile
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, UX, and data teams
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Compensation:
At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $110,000 – $145,000
