Space is a warfighting domain. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build the technology that secures it.

OUR MISSION

True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity.
  • What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.
  • It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.

YOUR MISSION

Creatives like you are essential to this mission — to inspire, narrate, and build. This is some of the most meaningful work you'll ever do, in an industry devoted to protecting the people you care about.

We're looking for an experienced graphic designer to join a growing creative team at an early and exciting moment for the company. This is a hands-on role — creating product assets, brand materials, visionary content, and whatever else the mission demands. Your artistic talent is front and center; we're not directing agencies, we're rolling up our sleeves and doing. You'll work directly with our Creative Director who’s building this team for people who care as much about the craft as the mission.

WHY THIS ROLE

There's no established playbook for how space security looks, sounds, or feels. No legacy brand guidelines handed down from a fifty-year-old agency relationship. No committee approving your every choice. The work you make here will define how an emerging and critical industry presents itself to the world.

You'll have real ownership. From designs that will go into orbit to how we frame our strategy, your fingerprints will be on work seen at the highest levels of government and military, as well as the public.

If you've ever wanted your craft to carry real weight — this is that job.

WHAT YOU’LL DO - Design & Creative Execution

  • Help us build our product. Create visual assets from scratch utilizing a variety of methods, 3D, 2D, photography, film, whatever it takes
  • Drive vision with our products and company strategy and visualize ways to tell our story in a way that connects
  • Bring impeccable design and artistic vision into everything we do, make us stand out

WHAT WE’D LIKE TO SEE - We hire for talent and potential, not pedigree.

  • 8-11 years of experience
  • Show us an amazing portfolio that showcases your personal artistic skills and demonstrates your experience on projects you’re proud of
  • While defense and space knowledge is great, we don’t expect it. Tech, Games, design/creative agency and freelancer are all good backgrounds for this role
  • We work in Adobe Creative Suite, Blender or Cinema 4D for 3D, and Figma for UX — comfort with these is a plus, mastery of your own toolset matters more. 3D is not essential for this role but a plus.

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Leverage your experience to work quickly and efficiently, we’re a lean team, everyone needs to pitch in and move fast
  • Take ownership of creative programs and see them through concept to final execution
  • Turn your hand to what’s needed, livery for a spacecraft – check, presentation materials for a board meeting - check

If you like this role but your skills or experience don’t quite fit… well apply anyway, or look at our other creative team role and see if that’s a better match: SENIOR UI DESIGNER

COMPENSATION:

  • Base Salary: $90,000-$130,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education and experience.

This position will be open until it is successfully filled. To submit your application, please follow the directions below.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

True Anomaly is committed to equal employment opportunity on any basis protected by applicable state and federal laws. If you have a disability or additional need that requires accommodation, please do not hesitate to let us.
