As a Senior Implementation Manager, you will lead the deployment of EHR (Electronic Health Record) functionality and capabilities that support the electronic exchange of clinical data, with a strong emphasis on enabling and accelerating compliance with federal regulations. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner closely with providers, customers, internal stakeholders, and end users to ensure solutions meet business, clinical, and regulatory needs.

As the Senior Implementation Manager, you will play a key role in shaping business and go‑to‑market strategies, working with vendor and DDAT partners to deliver technical enablement across multiple EHR platforms. As part of the Interoperability team, you will collaborate with Business, Clinical, Compliance, DDAT, Legal, and Vendor teams to deliver technologies and processes that advance our strategy for seamless clinical data exchange and meet all government requirements.

The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with a strong track record of leading large, cross‑functional programs and deep knowledge of healthcare interoperability. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to a fast‑changing environment.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Build business cases
  • Collaborate with DDAT Product Owners in PI planning and execution
  • Drive DDAT prioritization
  • Identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the industry
  • Track and report on spending and value metrics to ensure alignment to the portfolio
  • Collaborates across the enterprise business segments with other functional managers to ensure workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed
  • Influences change to improve performance results, organization effectiveness, systems, quality and/or services
  • Assists others to identify solutions to issues that negatively impact program and/or project plan
  • Support evolving Interoperability needs and cross-functional initiatives as they arise

This role is a work from home/remote position and can be based anywhere in the United States
Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years or more of healthcare experience
  • 3 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Program Manager with a proven track record of managing complex projects
  • Executive presentation skills and experience creating executive PowerPoint Presentations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medicare, Medicaid or Individual Health Plan experience.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements for government business
  • Process mapping and discovery experience
  • Project Management Professional

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience is required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
