- Taking full accountability for the initiation, definition, documentation and successful delivery of complex, high risk IT projects
- Developing project charters, commissioning projects and mobilizing cross functional project teams
- Creating and maintaining detailed project plans, assigning resources and managing delivery against time, scope, cost and quality
- Managing day to day project execution including change control, risk and issue management, testing and overall project performance
- Leading business change and implementation planning to ensure new technical capabilities are fully integrated and deliver expected benefits
- Overseeing contract management activities including supplier performance, KPIs, compliance, variations and continuous improvement
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, acting as a single point of contact and facilitating informed decision making
- Completing project close down activities including final reporting, lessons learned and transition into operations
- Proactively removing obstacles that impede progress and ensuring alignment across global teams
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Operations or Information Technology
- At least 8 years of senior IT project management experience within a global environment
- Proven experience delivering complex, high profile projects with significant dependencies and risk
- Strong capability across predictive and adaptive project management methodologies including agile
- Experience in business change, contract management and stakeholder engagement
- Professional certification such as PMI PMP, PMI ACP or Scrum Master preferred

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $119,500,00 - $207,250,00 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. In addition to base pay, we provide competitive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, parental leave, and generous PTO, paid company holidays annually and 8 hours of Volunteer time and a variety of wellness offerings such as EAP.
