In this role, you will work directly with carrier actuaries, product SMEs, and delivery teams to review product specifications, identify missing requirements, clarify actuarial intent, drive implementation decisions, and help validate that product behavior is represented correctly in the target system. The role also plays a critical part in data conversion, including balancing analysis and determining whether issues stem from source data, transformation logic, or target-system configuration.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do
- Assess carrier products, actuarial requirements, and source system calculations to determine implementation readiness and support needs for LifePRO.
- Review actuarial and product documentation for completeness, consistency, and missing assumptions.
- Translate product and actuarial requirements into actionable guidance for configuration, development, conversion, testing, and operations teams.
- Document gaps, non-gaps, assumptions, and implementation decisions clearly for internal and client-facing audiences.
- Support product configuration and validate expected system behavior during implementation and testing.
- Analyze conversion and balancing issues to determine whether discrepancies are driven by data, transformation logic, or configuration/calculation setup.
- Use SQL and scripting tools to analyze, compare, transform, and validate data across source and target systems
What We Are Looking For
- 10–15 years of experience in life insurance, annuities, actuarial support, product administration, product implementation, or product systems.
- Strong knowledge of Life and Annuity products; LTC, Group Life, and Disability experience is also welcomed.
- Ability to read and evaluate actuarial and product specifications and identify missing or ambiguous requirements.
- Experience supporting system implementations, data conversion, and reconciliation / balancing analysis.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python, VBA, or similar tools for analysis or transformation work.
- Experience with insurance administration systems such as LifePRO, CyberLife, ALFA, Ingenium, or similar. Illustration system experience is also relevant.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across actuarial, technical, and operational teams.
