We acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app. The team leads onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimization to help partners succeed. About the Team
This position is part of the Revenue Operations & Analytics team. As a Senior Manager, GTM Business Systems, you will lead the Business Systems team, partnering closely with stakeholders across Revenue, Engineering, and Operations to design and deliver scalable technical solutions to complex business challenges. Your work will directly impact how our Revenue teams operate, grow, and succeed.

In this role, you will lead and grow a high-performing Business Systems organization, delivering highly technical, multi-quarter roadmaps that support a rapidly scaling business. You will partner with your team and cross-functional leaders to define future-state architectures and operating models, while making pragmatic decisions that address today’s business needs without compromising tomorrow’s vision.

What You'll Do
- Set the GTM Business Systems strategy and vision, aligning technology investments with company objectives to drive scalable growth, operational efficiency, and revenue acceleration.
- Own and evolve the GTM systems roadmap, balancing near-term business needs with long-term architectural scalability across Revenue, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Product / Engineering.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Systems Analysts, Developers, and a Project/Program Managers, fostering strong delivery, technical rigor, and stakeholder partnership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Merchant Engineering, Merchant Risk, Legal Ops, Revenue, IT, Operations, and CS to translate business requirements into well-designed, reliable system solutions.
- Oversee implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise platforms including Salesforce, Ironclad, Snowflake, Workato, and internally built systems (e.g., Mordor).
- Ensure system architecture and configurations are secure, scalable, and optimized to support evolving business models, products, and pricing strategies.
- Drive system governance and operational excellence, including regular audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve reliability, and eliminate manual work.
- Define and track success metrics for business systems initiatives, leveraging delivery and performance indicators (e.g., Jira metrics, sprint velocity, throughput, system ROI).
- Own large-scale programs and migrations, defining scope, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Lead billing and revenue systems initiatives, enabling complex product launches, pricing models, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary GTM Business Systems POC, building trusted partnerships with Sales Operations, Engineering, IT, Product, and Finance.
- Communicate clearly and consistently, using tools like Jira and Notion to provide visibility into project status, roadmap progress, and key risks.
What We Look For
- 8+ years of experience in Business Systems, with deep ownership of commerce-to-cash / quote-to-cash processes; background in high-growth tech, enterprise environments, and/or systems consulting.
- 8+ years of people leadership experience, managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven ability to operate autonomously while partnering effectively, taking initiative, learning from peers, and sharing knowledge across teams.
- Strong technical fluency, including Salesforce (SFDC), SQL, Snowflake, and modern reporting/analytics tools.
- Deep understanding of Quote-to-Cash systems and workflows, including Salesforce CPQ and downstream billing and revenue systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions.
- Advanced experience in reporting, data analysis, and visualization to drive insight and decision-making.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and at all levels, influencing stakeholders across Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and executive leadership.
Equity Grade - 10
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $190,000 - $240,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $169,000 - $219,000
