About This Role:
As a Senior Manager in IT Commercial Data Management, you will play a vital role in enhancing our data capabilities across the organization. Working closely with Enterprise IT and Business Stakeholders, you will lead pivotal initiatives that span Snowflake cloud data engineering, data product ownership, and data quality. This position requires hands-on involvement in daily engineering activities while driving strategic data projects. You will manage data-sharing and analytics as an IT Product Owner, develop innovative data products, and implement data governance across our alliance partnership. Your efforts will directly support our US Analytical teams, offering insights into HCP preferences, engagement, and channel effectiveness, thereby adding significant value to the business.
This individual should have the ability to work eastern standard hours.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as IT Product Owner, managing data-sharing and analytics with alliance partner.
Gain domain expertise on therapeutic area data assets such as claims data to serve as SME.
Implement Data Governance across the alliance partnership with Biogen and alliance partner
Manage data quality, compliance, and access controls on therapeutic area datasets.
Enable insights into HCP preferences, engagement, channel effectiveness, and conversion.

You are a seasoned data engineer with substantial experience in commercial data within the healthcare sector. Throughout your career, you have expanded your expertise to include cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies. You thrive in dynamic environments, exhibit strong ownership, and adeptly balance strategic thinking with technical execution. Your empathetic and disciplined approach ensures the delivery of accurate, trusted, and accessible data, empowering your business partners.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
7+ years of Data Engineering experience with expertise in Snowflake Data Engineering, Snowflake native procedures, SQL, Python, data quality frameworks, star schema modeling, data product development, and Informatica (IICS).
Experience with scheduling/orchestration tools such as Active Batch or Control M.
Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy data and syndicated data (claims, Rx).
Experience working with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, Veeva Align, Veeva Network, and marketing data sources (Google Analytics, websites, campaigns, social platforms).
Proven ability to build strong relationships, collaborate across functions, support team development, and maintain a consultative, solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics in clear, non-technical language.
Experience across the full SDLC—development, testing, deployment, and operations.
Experience working within the SAFe Agile framework.
Proven success collaborating with offshore and nearshore teams across time zones.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin or Dbschema.
Knowledge of implementing Snowflake Cortex Analyst and Search and Snowflake AI/Intelligence Services
Experience with Informatica Data Governance modules.

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
