A Brief Overview

As a Market Conduct Exam Sr Manager, you will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and managing internal projects for Market Conduct Exams from initiation through completion. You will leverage your business expertise between various Market Conduct Exams to ensure that Aetna Pharmacy is meeting compliance standards relating to Market Conduct Exams and state regulations. This role will require securing required resources and using formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help prioritize responses to ensure on-time completion.

What you will do

  • Act as a top-level specialist on completion of Market Conduct Exams by independently collecting facts and utilizing strong clinical analytical capabilities to provide guidance on Market Conduct Exams
  • Research and respond to complex compliance requests for information within area of responsibility
  • Monitor pharmacy compliance activities to identify and report trends to support and build out a streamlined process for Market Conduct Exams.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and/or develop responses and identify potential changes to ensure compliance.
  • Assist the compliance regulatory team with gathering information and developing responses for Market Conduct Exams.
  • Help refine business needs analysis methods to establish requirements and specifications for processes improvement.
  • Create required project and program plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and reinforce organizational standards.
  • Coach and support junior-level project and program managers on coordination and completion of Market Conduct Exams using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and analyze project and program outcomes.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing among project teams to highlight success stories and improve project and program management practices through insights.
  • Create a continuous improvement plan and design the change management protocol to enhance delivery processes and outcomes and effectively respond to obstacles that may arise during project and program lifecycles

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years project management experience in the healthcare and/or pharmacy industry
  • Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Adept at business intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of fully insured health plans
  • Understanding of legal requirements
  • Experience with compliance, audit, market conduct exams

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
