The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Director of Sales (NSP).  The position is responsible for developing and executing the overall sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and aligning the NSP team with corporate objectives. This role provides strategic leadership, manages account managers and represents the business in executive-level customer and partner engagements.


***This is a national position with 70% Travel. You can be home office based in any metro area with close proximity to an airport

 

This role will focus on key deliverables in the following areas:

 

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop multi-year sales strategies aligned to corporate objectives and market trends.
  • Define Growth Objectives to develop and implement sales strategies tailored to NSP partners to drive market share growth.
  • Establishes revenue targets, quota distribution, and territory/segment design across the NSP business.
  • Evaluates new market opportunities (e.g., emerging technologies, verticals, or geographic expansion).
  • Defines policies for pricing, discounting, and partner engagement at a strategic level.
  • Identify new business opportunities and innovative sales approaches to maximize revenue.
  • Work closely with account managers to ensure execution of sales initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Leads account mapping as a core sales strategy by defining the framework and governance between LG internal sales teams, NSP partners, and end customers to ensure clear ownership of strategic accounts, maximize partner alignment, and drive joint customer engagement and pipeline development for sustainable revenue growth

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the NSP sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Sets expectations for behaviors, accountability, and sales culture across the NSP organization.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by motivating and inspiring team members.
  • Set performance objectives, monitor progress, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate governance, legal, HR, and regulatory requirements.

NSP Partner Management & Business Development

  • Build and strengthen relationships with NSP accounts to enhance business partnerships especially building C-suite level relationships.
  • Collaborate with NSPs managements to create joint go-to-market strategies and business development initiatives.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and incentive programs with NSP partners.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, identify challenges, and drive improvements.

Sales Forecast, Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Owns overall NSP pipeline health, sales forecasting accuracy, and business reporting to management including highlighting key successes and areas for improvement.
  • Takes ownership of sales forecasting by analyzing run-rate sales and projected sales, establishing monthly sales estimates in alignment with monthly sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance, track key KPIs, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Analyze sales trends, market dynamics, and competitive activities to adjust strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with LG’s marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies and maximize NSP engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of promotions, product launches, and sales enablement programs.
  • Collaborate with business managers, finance and supply chain teams for pricing, forecasting, and inventory management.

Training & Enablement

  • Ensure the NSP sales team is well-equipped with product knowledge, competitive insights, sales tools, internal operation and processes
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members for professional growth and skill development.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • Experience: 12+ years in sales, account management, or business development within technology, ProAV, or IT industries; at least 10 years in sales leadership or team management roles.
  • NSP Expertise: Proven ability to deliver consistent revenue growth with Fortune 500 or Tier-1 NSP customers; prior experience managing NSPs, channel partners, or large enterprise accounts strongly preferred.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams, driving sales performance, and building leadership pipelines.
  • Executive Engagement: Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders and leading complex negotiations.
  • Sales Acumen: Expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and closing complex, multi-party deals.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and translate insights into business decisions.
  • Tools & Systems: Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), and sales reporting tools.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of display technologies (LCD, LED), networking, video conferencing, PC and related software/firmware. Familiarity with LG’s product portfolio and competitive landscape is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with a strategic, results-oriented mindset.
  • Work Style: Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments and managing multiple priorities across accounts.
  • Global Readiness: Initiative to work effectively in multicultural environments; willingness to travel for customer meetings, partner engagements, and industry events.
Recruiting Range
$200,000$240,000 USD
