About This Job

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Manager of FP&A and Strategic Finance to join our dynamic FP&A team to support our Gracenote business. This is a critical leadership role that will be at the forefront of shaping our financial strategy and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.  This is a new position within the organization, where you will be responsible for providing financial insights to senior leadership, and partnering cross-functionally to support strategic growth initiatives and long-range planning. You will have a unique opportunity to establish new processes, systems and financial models from the ground up.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the company's long-range strategic financial planning process.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Partner with executive leadership to evaluate and execute on strategic initiatives, including new product launches, and market expansion.

  • Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Product Leadership and other senior leaders across the organization, providing financial insights, and supporting their decision-making.

  • Performance Measurement: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial models for strategic initiatives to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to support business case analysis, and long range scenario planning.

  • Product P&Ls: Implement a product P&L reporting process to assess performance, identify profitability drivers, and support product lifecycle decisions on an ongoing basis.

  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics to inform financial strategy and business planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking. Media industry experience is strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of corporate finance principles.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of managing and developing team members.

  • Proficiency with financial systems (SAP Analytics Cloud strongly preferred) and advanced Excel PowerPoint and Google Suite skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
