Job Description

The Supply Chain Agile Pod Product Owner is a Senior Manager position responsible for leading the FBIN Supply Chain Agile Pod that develops and implements supply chain optimization solutions across the Fortune Brands business units. The successful candidate will lead a cross-functional project team of 8-12 people with the goal of reducing inventory, improving service levels, and reducing supply chain costs. The candidate will have practical experience in supply chain processes, data and tools, and agile methodology or traditional project management approaches.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Vision & Roadmap: Sets the vision and roadmap for the agile pod to execute supply chain optimization opportunities across business units. Develops a comprehensive product roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Leadership: Provides guidance and leadership for the pod, mentors pod members, and fosters collaborative, solutions oriented culture. Utilizes the FBIN  Blueprint to guide actions and behaviors of the team.
  • Solution Development: Works closely with business users, data scientists, and subject matter experts to understand supply chain processes, data requirements, and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Goal Tracking: Tracks and manages team performance to ensure that the primary KPIs for inventory, cost, and service, are attained.
  • Agile Methodology: Leads the pod utilizing agile methodology and tools. Works with the Scrum Master, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, and cross functional Subject Matter Experts to accomplish goals and objectives. Participates in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and other agile events.
  • Product Backlog Management: Develops, maintains, and prioritizes the backlog of user stories that will be implemented by the pod. Works with Subject Matter Experts to develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly outline customer and stakeholder needs.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Provide guidance and coaching to the development team on managing supply chain data, developing dashboards, and utilizing data in day to day operations activities. Works with the Data Architecture pod to develop best data management approach to support the pod’s objectives.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Operations, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or equivalent). A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Solid experience (7 years) in supply chain or related operations field with a strong understanding of supply chain processes, tools, and data.
  • Track record of problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within defined timelines.
  • Proven experience in project leadership, agile development methodologies or traditional project management approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong experience working with ERP planning systems such as SAP, Logility, Peoplesoft, or other.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $120,000 USD - $160,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
