About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Visual Design to lead and elevate Dandy’s graphic design team. This role will serve as the creative authority and steward of Dandy’s visual identity, and oversee multiple designers, providing art direction, feedback, and clear quality standards while building design systems that scale. While this role does include hands-on design for high impact projects, its primary focus is leadership, resourcing, team development, and creative oversight.
As a leader at Dandy, you will operate with high autonomy, influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders, and shape how our brand shows up across campaigns, events, product marketing, performance channels, and beyond. You will be responsible for upleveling the team’s craft, strengthening creative rigor, and ensuring we consistently deliver high-impact, integrated, and beautifully executed work.
What You'll Do
Serve as the art director and visual authority for Dandy’s graphic design team – setting and holding the visual standard across all channels and touchpoints.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of designers, elevating craft, conceptual thinking, and execution across the team.
Establish and evolve scalable design systems, campaign frameworks, and governance processes that ensure consistency and efficiency across global markets.
Oversee creative execution across all marketing channels and high impact initiatives to ensure best-in-class output.
Own design team resourcing and capacity planning, balancing internal workloads while strategically leveraging agencies, freelancers, and contractors as needed.
Partner cross-functionally across GTM teams to translate business objectives into high-impact creative.
Lead structured design reviews and provide clear, actionable feedback that strengthens both the work and the team.
Stay at the forefront of emerging design tools and technologies — including AI-powered creative workflows — identifying opportunities to improve speed, quality, scalability, and innovation across the team.
Drive continuous elevation of Dandy’s visual identity through innovation, trend awareness, and a deep commitment to design excellence.
What We're Looking For
8+ years of experience in visual design, including significant experience at the Art Director or Senior Manager level design roles.
Proven experience leading and developing multiple designers (more than two direct reports), with a track record of raising the creative bar across a team.
A standout portfolio demonstrating integrated, multi-channel campaigns, strong art direction, and experience building scalable brand systems.
Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma, with fluency across digital, print, performance, events, and campaign design.
Experience working in an agency or managing multiple brands, with a strong understanding of how to scale creative across diverse touchpoints.
Demonstrated ownership of design resourcing and capacity planning, including managing agencies, freelancers, and external partners.
Experience working digital asset management systems and helping maintain governance to drive consistent asset utilization with the design team and cross-functional teams.
Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience partnering with senior and executive stakeholders.
Exceptional creative judgment, with the ability to interpret briefs, navigate ambiguity, and deliver strategically aligned design solutions.
High ownership, accountability, and operational rigor, with the ability to balance leadership oversight and selective hands-on contribution.
Experience working digital asset management systems and helping maintain governance to drive consistent asset utilization with the design team and cross-functional teams.

Experience building and managing design systems for global markets.
Experience with motion design and 3D animation.
Strong knowledge and familiarity with photo and video production.
