Description

We’re looking for a data-driven Lead Data Scientist to help Jiffy unlock growth through smarter marketing decisions. In this role, you will analyze marketing performance, optimize acquisition strategies, and develop frameworks for measuring effectiveness across channels. Your insights will directly impact how we allocate budgets, refine customer segmentation, and drive overall marketing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and optimize marketing performance – Analyze campaign data across paid and organic channels (email, social, search, display) to uncover opportunities to improve CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and CLTV.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards – Build and maintain marketing performance dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Enhance customer segmentation & targeting – Leverage data to define high-value customer segments and work with marketing to develop tailored acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Refine marketing attribution – Build and implement attribution models to assess the impact of different marketing channels and optimize media spend.
  • Lead A/B testing & experimentation – Design and execute A/B tests to assess marketing effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Work closely with marketing, product, and analytics teams to ensure insights are integrated into decision-making.
Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years work experience with 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in an e-commerce or related industry.
  • Proficiency in using Python and SQL to query data, generate visualizations, and run statistical analysis.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and experimentation frameworks.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
