As the Senior Marketing Ops Manager, you will own the technology, processes, and data foundations that power Marketing execution at Fleetio. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, you will ensure our systems are connected, reliable, scalable, and equipped to support how Marketing generates, nurtures, routes, and measures demand.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on and can seamlessly move between business requirements and technical execution. You can evaluate processes, understand how data should flow across systems, configure and troubleshoot solutions, and clearly explain the implications to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Your Impact

Marketing Technology Ownership and Optimization

  • Own the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of Fleetio’s marketing technology stack, including marketing automation, attribution, inbound routing, enrichment, intent, advertising, webinar, event, and data automation platforms. Ensure the stack is connected, reliable, documented, and governed.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for Marketo architecture, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Gather business requirements, identify technology and process gaps, and lead the implementation, integration, testing, and adoption of new capabilities.
  • Monitor system health, utilization, access, and vendor performance, identifying opportunities to simplify the stack, reduce manual work, control costs, and improve reliability.
  • Maintain documentation covering system ownership, architecture, integrations, dependencies, and change history.

Lifecycle, Routing, and Data Integrity

  • Implement and maintain lifecycle stages, lead and contact scoring, qualification, routing rules, SLAs, and handoffs across Marketing, SDR, and Sales. This includes the supporting systems, from inbound routing and scheduling tools such as Chili Piper to CRM and automation platforms.
  • Own the flow of marketing data across Salesforce, enrichment tools, and marketing automation platforms. Diagnose sync errors, field-mapping issues, and broken automations while improving data quality through normalization, deduplication, and enrichment using tools such as ZoomInfo and Clay.
  • Maintain consent, preference, suppression, and retention processes across marketing systems in support of GDPR, CCPA, and related requirements.
  • Maintain campaign and tracking infrastructure, including Salesforce Campaigns and hierarchies, UTM standards, forms, pixels, and events.
  • Own the operational health of attribution platforms such as Bizible. Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards that provide visibility into campaign performance, funnel conversion, and pipeline contribution, resolving discrepancies across platforms.
  • Partner with Sales Ops, Revenue Ops, GTM Systems, Data, and Web teams on integrations and shared data models.

Operational Excellence and Partnership

  • Serve as a technical and operational partner to Marketing teams, helping translate business goals into scalable processes and system solutions.
  • Manage incoming Marketing Operations requests by clarifying requirements, identifying dependencies, setting priorities, and communicating timelines and tradeoffs.
  • Create documentation and training that help marketers use systems correctly and understand how their work affects data quality, attribution, lifecycle management, and downstream teams.
  • Balance immediate execution needs with the long-term scalability, maintainability, and governance of the marketing technology environment. Proactively identify risks and opportunities and follow through on recommendations.
Your Experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology, or Revenue Operations within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • An active Adobe Marketo Engage Business Practitioner Expert certification, or the current equivalent advanced Marketo certification, is required.
  • Experience owning and optimizing a broad marketing technology stack beyond a marketing automation platform.
  • Strong Salesforce experience, including Campaigns, reports and dashboards, fields and objects, and funnel and pipeline reporting.
  • Practical knowledge of APIs, webhooks, native integrations, data synchronization, and workflow automation.
  • Hands-on experience with lifecycle management, routing, lead-to-account matching, and Marketing-to-SDR handoffs.
  • Experience supporting integrated campaigns across demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, events, and digital programs.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to trace issues across multiple platforms, validate data, and identify root causes.
  • Strong project management and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
