What you’ll do

In this highly interactive role within the AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, you will develop and deliver marketing programs that strengthen the Firm’s brand and generate measurable pipeline growth for assigned practices. You will serve as a trusted marketing partner to practice leaders, translating business objectives into targeted, sophisticated marketing initiatives with global scalability.

Success in this role means increasing awareness, deepening client relationships, and contributing directly to practice-level business development outcomes through disciplined campaign strategy and execution.

The Business Marketing Senior Specialist is a full-time role which reports to a Business Marketing Director and collaborates extensively across the Business Marketing function and Firm leadership. Paid relocation is not available for this position.

  • Own and execute integrated marketing programs for assigned practices, aligning campaign strategy to pipeline growth objectives and Firm priorities.
  • Support the Firm’s corporate brand and marketing strategy by championing its adoption in the sector / practice e.g., global thought-leadership themes and assets, brand guidelines and assets.
  • Partner with the Marketing Director to set campaign strategy and design end-to-end integrated programs that expand the practice franchise – through proactive outreach and audience engagement, lead nurturing, and follow up.
  • Plan and execute high-impact events (small dinners, webinars, roundtables, hospitality programs), including associated tasks (audience targeting, invitation coordination, venue booking, vendor liaison, post-event follow-up, etc.) to ensure seamless delivery and measurable ROI.
  • Manage campaign budgets within assigned scope, tracking performance metrics and optimizing resource allocation to maximize impact.
  • Manage awards submission processes for publications such as, but not limited to, Lexology, Global Investigations Review, Global Arbitration Review, Chambers and others.
  • Develop and refine campaign messaging pillars, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic objectives. Act as a point of contact for shared marketing services and external vendors where appropriate to ensure execution.
  • Curate content on the practice’s web pages, ensuring that it is up-to-date and regularly refreshed.
  • Manage list builds for programs, coordinating post-program follow-up, and reporting on program success.
  • Partner with sales enablement to ensure marketing collateral, targeting lists, and engagement strategies are current, data-informed, and strategically aligned.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to analyze and capture relevant market trends, competitor marketing strategies and buyer behavior and translating these into the Firm’s marketing campaign strategy, messaging and targeting.
  • Liaise with regional marketing teams, marketing specialists, and subject matter experts in digital, content, events, and media relations to leverage and contribute to the Firm’s best practice in campaign planning and execution to ensure consistent and scalable marketing programs across geographic markets.
  • Assist with project management duties, such as: collecting and pursuing action points from meetings with business partners, ensuring that nothing “falls through the cracks” and that the project stays on track.
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of the Firm’s marketing approach, bringing forward ideas, insights, and best practices that strengthen overall capability.

What you’ll need

  • Minimum three (3) years of work experience in the marketing and communications space, and an interest in campaign and project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Analytics, Project Management, or related field.
  • Knowledge of the essential B2B marketing toolkit, including email marketing, CRM, lead tracking / scoring / qualification, content creation, website UX, webinars, podcasts, video, and collateral management.
  • Evidence of having supported successful marketing campaigns using a combination of on-line and off-line channels.
  • Experience managing and hosting events, conferences, webinars, etc.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and multiple concurrent initiatives with sound judgment.
  • Proactive and responsive; Excellent organizational skills with experience operating in time-sensitive, ambiguous environments, balancing competing priorities with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Keen eye for differentiation. Ability to quickly study competitors, keep abreast of the external market and recommend ideas that position AlixPartners with differentiation.
  • Ability to translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations that inform decision-making.
  • Experience identifying and driving process, tool, or system improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, or scalability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and executive-ready messaging.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Monday.com a plus.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Must be able to be physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, identity theft protection, and mental wellness support. Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 7.34 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave, and twelve holidays.

The hourly range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $48/hr. - $62/hr. with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
