Senior Partner Marketing Specialist, Onboarding

Introduction to the Team
We create and deliver tailored marketing strategies for Expedia Group’s brands, focusing on establishing strong connections and cohesive experiences for travelers and partners.
We leverage our functional expertise and creative excellence to build trust and loyalty for our brands through innovative marketing approaches and technology.

Make an impact!
We are looking for a customer-obsessed, data-driven Senior Partner Marketing Specialist to own and optimize marketing for Vrbo partners during onboarding. This role will focus on moving partners from account creation to a live listing by designing and activating effective marketing that drives partner action and help them complete their listings and go live with confidence. Success will be measured primarily by improvement in the account creation to go-live conversion rate, alongside supporting metrics such as speed to go live and new listing completeness.
In this role, you will:

  • Own the onboarding marketing strategy and execution for newly created Vrbo partner accounts, with the goal of increasing the rate of partners who progress from account creation to a live listing.
  • Develop strong creative briefs informed by partner research and insights, translating onboarding barriers into clear messaging, positioning, and creative that reinforces the value of listing on Vrbo and motivates action.
  • Build and optimize email journeys that activate and nurture leads through listing completion to improve conversion and help maximize the ROI from our paid media investment.
  • Test and optimize marketing outreach to improve program engagement and effectiveness, including messaging, sequencing, and new channel exploration.
  • Collaborate with the Programs team to design and launch campaigns for eligible partners where incentives can accelerate listing completion and activation.
  • Partner with internal teams to understand onboarding friction and translate insights into scalable marketing improvements, creating a feedback loop on marketing performance and impact.
  • Define and monitor performance dashboards, and regularly communicate results, insights, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience as a hands-on campaign owner with a strong record of improving conversion through targeted communications.
  • Comfortable owning defined workstreams independently, prioritizing effectively, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
  • Analytical and experiment-oriented: you use data to identify opportunities, form hypotheses, measure incrementality, and make recommendations.
  • A strong communicator who can translate partner solutions into clear, motivating communications that drive action.
  • Skilled at independently and proactively collaborating across teams to deliver shared outcomes.
  • Curious about customer behavior and persistent in uncovering the barriers that prevent partners from completing key actions.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong operational discipline across campaign setup, QA, measurement, and ongoing optimization.
