Senior Partnership Executive
Reports to: VP of Business Development
At Alma, we’re making high-quality, in-network mental healthcare more accessible and affordable. Partnerships with health plans and other strategic partners are central to our mission. We’re looking for a Senior Partnerships Executive to deepen and expand relationships with our payer and network partners, driving meaningful growth while delivering mutual value.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who thrives at the intersection of relationship management, commercial growth, and healthcare innovation.
What You’ll Do- Serve as a senior strategic business partner to internal and external constituents to optimize growth and expansion of Alma’s health plan partnerships.
- Cultivates and expands relationships with existing key external health plan stakeholders to identify and capitalize on high-impact growth opportunities, ensuring strategic alignment and mutual success.
- Negotiate and influence across complex, matrixed organizations to deliver joint business value.
- Spearheads the development and execution of strategic plans to ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives and integration with existing programs or services.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Analytics to deliver seamless implementation and measurable outcomes.
- Track and report on partnership performance, using data to optimize and evolve strategies.
- Assess the competitive environment and develop retention and sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and drive a competitive advantage.
- Lead presentations, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions with external partners.
- You have 7+ years of experience within healthcare or healthcare-adjacent industries where payers are key partners (e.g., digital health, benefits platforms, population health, pharmacy services, provider networks), with a strong track record in business development alongside partnership or strategic account management.
- Track record of growing enterprise partnerships and managing executive-level relationships
- You have a proven ability to build strong relationships, resolve business challenges, and navigate conflicts in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot and shape opportunities.
- Skilled in negotiation, influence, and executive communication.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to tie partnerships to measurable business outcomes.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting priorities, and operating with a growth mindset.
- You have excellent critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.

Salary Band: $132,600 - $189,200
