Senior Principal Business Solutions (Pre-Sales) – Insurance Billing
Remote, United States | Travel up to 40%
Help insurers modernize the way they bill, collect, and serve customers.
We’re looking for a senior insurance billing expert who understands both the business and technology side of Personal and Commercial Lines operations — and can translate that expertise into compelling customer conversations, solution strategies, and sales outcomes.
This is not a back-office analyst role.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing position for someone who can partner with sales teams, lead functional discovery discussions, shape modernization conversations, and demonstrate how billing and accounts receivable solutions solve real business problems for P&C insurers across North America.
If you’ve worked with insurance commercial billing platforms — and enjoy helping customers envision transformation — this role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise buying decisions and shape strategic insurance technology programs.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the billing and accounts receivable domain expert within the presales organization
- Partner with sales teams to understand customer pain points, modernization goals, and operational challenges
- Lead discovery conversations, workshops, and functional solution discussions with insurance carriers and MGAs
- Translate business requirements into solution narratives and functional positioning
- Support demos, use cases, customer presentations, and RFI/RFP responses
- Help insurers evaluate system replacement and transformation initiatives across billing and policy operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve demo assets, reusable collateral, and sales enablement content
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve research, demo preparation, customer engagement, and pre-sales productivity
What You Bring
- Deep expertise in P&C insurance billing and accounts receivable operations in the North American market
- Experience with commercial insurance billing platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity, or similar solutions
- Strong understanding of Personal and Commercial Lines business processes
- Ability to connect business needs with solution capabilities and transformation outcomes
- Experience gathering and defining functional requirements
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Background as a Business Analyst (preferred), Functional Analyst, Billing Supervisor, Systems Analyst, Solution Consultant, or related role within insurance technology or carrier operations
- Experience supporting software demos, pre-sales engagements, or enterprise solution presentations is strongly preferred
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve workflows, content development, and customer engagement
Why This Role Matters
Insurance carriers are under pressure to modernize legacy billing systems, improve customer experience, and operate more efficiently. This role sits at the center of those conversations.
You’ll help some of the industry’s leading insurers evaluate transformation strategies, understand what’s possible, and connect business outcomes to technology decisions.
Why Join Us
- Work on strategic modernization initiatives with top insurance carriers
- Influence enterprise sales pursuits and customer transformation programs
- Partner with experienced insurance and technology leaders
- Gain visibility across sales, product, and executive stakeholders
- Help shape how AI enhances insurance pre-sales and solution consulting
If you’re passionate about insurance operations, enterprise technology, and helping customers solve complex business challenges, we’d love to connect.
