Your Impact at Caylent
- Amplify Team Success: Serve as our technical escalation expert, providing creative solutions that transform roadblocks into accelerators across multiple Caylent Accelerate™ Database Modernization projects.
- Shape Project Success: Lead technical assessments and establish quality gates that prevent surprises while contributing to pre-sales evaluations that win us the right projects.
- Build Competitive Advantage: Develop methodologies that become Caylent IP and contribute to AI-driven automation tools that differentiate our practice in the marketplace.
- Elevate Market Presence: Represent Caylent through thought leadership and mentor teams while positioning us as the trusted partner to C-level stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- Essential: 10+ years modernizing complex databases with deep SQL Server expertise.
- Proven success in 2+ migration paths (SQL Server→PostgreSQL/Babelfish, Oracle→Aurora, etc.).
- Strong AWS database knowledge, enterprise leadership experience, GenAI/ML understanding, and natural mentoring abilities.
- Bonus: Oracle migrations, performance optimization, tool development, thought leadership, compliance experience.

Base Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $185,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Additional Compensation Components: In addition to the base salary, the compensation package may include bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives. The specific components will vary depending on the role and individual and/or company performance.
This role may require up to 25% travel, depending on business needs.
