At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

The Role

At ECXD (Emerging Creative Experience Design), our mission is to craft multimedia experiences that blend motion, audio, visuals, and storytelling to amplify Netflix’s brand, drive innovation, and inspire meaningful connections with global audiences and partners.

We specialize in interaction, animation, cinematic UX, and engaging content-forward interfaces, working horizontally across products and platforms to create performant, intuitive, and delightful user experiences that immerse users, effectively convey information, and foster connections between Netflix, members, soon-to-be members, and B2B partners.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the team! As ECXD Designer you will be responsible for UX/UI strategy with a focus on user interface design, high-visual craft, and brand expression across our full suite of consumer products including web, mobile, and TV. Working horizontally and collaboratively across a range of member and nonmember surfaces to envision and build product experiences that advance business goals, and the aesthetics and usability of the Netflix Product Experience.

Your Impact:

  •  Lead UX and visual design across TV, mobile, and web surfaces, spanning member and nonmember experiences.

  • Turn business goals into interfaces that delight, inform, and engage.

  • Partner with motion, AV, and audio teams to integrate storytelling into interactions.

  • Prototype and test high-fidelity concepts, from sketches and wireframes to vision videos and interactive prototypes.

  • Define scalable frameworks, style guides, and visual systems that unify Netflix’s product experiences.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design Systems, and Research to ensure holistic experience quality.

  • Guide creative execution with external contractors and agencies, ensuring work scales with business needs.

  • Mentor teammates and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration on complex projects.

  • Deliver a variety of artifacts and storytelling mediums, including qual stimuli, mockups, videos, promotional concepts, and business storytelling presentations.

Must have:

  •  Ability to craft visionary UX concepts grounded in user needs.

  •  Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high quality.

  •  Strong cross-discipline partnership skills, able to see the big picture strategically, bring pieces together, and drive clarity through ambiguity.

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including video, audio, and motion graphics on a variety of creative artifacts.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate design decisions and strategy with influence.

  • Proactive and self-starting, able to uncover and propose solutions independently.

  • Ability to participate in and influence impactful design solutions across all phases of the product lifecycle.

Bonus:

  • Entertainment, content-rich product, or interactive storytelling experience.

  • Advanced prototyping (Figma Motion, Principle, ProtoPie, After Effects).

  • Real-time tools (Unreal, Unity, WebGL).

  • Strategic product roadmap or creative vision experience.

Why You’ll Love It Here

Netflix is a home for creative excellence. ECXD offers a space where art and technology intersect, giving you freedom to push creative boundaries while shaping the future of multimedia design across the Netflix ecosystem.
