THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Senior Product Manager - BFSI

Job Summary

Iron Mountain is a leading provider of innovative digital solutions in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) industry.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who will own the entire product development process, from ideation to delivery, for a critical SaaS solution targeting the BFSI sector. This role encompasses defining the product strategy, overseeing the build, and leading the end-to-end commercialization—including backlog management, requirements definition, go-to-market strategy, value translation, and sales enablement. 

Success requires exceptional communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Execution: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and prioritize the product roadmap based on business impact.

  • End-to-End Product Ownership: Drive the product lifecycle from concept to launch, defining clear technical requirements and providing strategic guidance on User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) design.

  • Commercialization & Sales Enablement: Execute comprehensive Go-To-Market strategies and serve as the strategic product expert providing deep pre-sales support to frontline teams.

  • Business Value & Growth Optimization: Maximize customer Lifetime Value (LTV) and navigate feature trade-offs utilizing market sizing and rigorous Return on Investment (ROI) modeling.

  • Ecosystem Partnership Development: Build and leverage strategic partnerships with Hyperscalers, System Integrators, and Independent Software Vendors to expand market reach and product capabilities.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BFSI consulting or product development for the financial services and insurance sectors.

  • Proven track record of successfully bringing innovative 0 to 1 products to market and driving revenue growth

  • Deep command of the end-to-end product strategy, product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.

  • A consultant-driven approach to product management by evaluating roadmaps and feature sets through the lens of business impact, structural frameworks, and rigorous problem-solving.

  • Experience with banking workflow solutions, data management, intelligent document processing technologies and business orchestration and automation solutions, such as Workflow, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), IDP (Intelligent Document Processing), RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) driven document analysis and agents.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, drive cross-functional alignment, and exert leadership when required.

  • Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
