Responsibilities
Create product roadmaps based on usability studies, VOC competitive research, and internal collaboration with the development team
Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents and Market Requirement Documents
Develop business cases and own the accountability for the financial plan for your products and portfolio
Author detailed product requirements for Audinate's engineering teams and OEM/ODM partners
Share your vision through product demonstrations to stakeholders
Support sales and marketing in defining rollout strategies and marketing campaigns
Monitor product financial and quality metrics - utilizing data to improve product performance and capabilities
Keep abreast of competitive landscape and technology trends.
Tradeshow management and leadership selling of your product lines
Requirements
Expert working knowledge of ‘AV programming’ in the Audio-Visual Control & Automation segment of the AV industry
10+ years Product Management experience with a strong emphasis on whole product methodologies including Product Marketing aspects
Experience in agile dev, high-throughput product development cycles
Experience in managing OEM/ODM relationships is a plus
- Demonstratable AV programming skills, certifications and knowledge in one or more of the following: Q-SYS lua scripting, UCI authoring and plugins, Q-SYS Reflect, Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+ and VT Pro-e, Crestron XiO Cloud, AMX NetLinx, Extron Global Scripter and Python
Additional desirable skills and experience
AIPMM certification
Experience with AV-over-IP video products, technologies and systems
Prior technical AV sales experience e.g. with an integrator, manufacturer, rep firm
Degree in Engineering or Business discipline
