About the Team
Our team looks after all aspects of Exposure Command , one of Rapid7's suite of products and services, which offers customers a way to confidently identify and prioritize exposures from endpoint to cloud with full attack surface visibility and threat-aware context.
About the Role
The role of our Senior Product Managers is to help shape the future of Exposure Command. This solution will provide cutting edge insights into our customers' hybrid security posture, and help them protect an ever growing attack surface. This person will challenge convention and open up new possibilities with foresight, consideration, and positivity. You will work closely with customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to obtain market insights directly or through customer-facing teams and you will own the product life-cycle end to end.
In this role, you will:

• Work with executive leadership, product and engineering teams to develop product plans aligned with market requirements and opportunities for growth.
• Work with customers and leverage market research to develop functional and technical requirements in partnership with engineering.
• Lead cross-team collaboration for product planning, prioritization, development, launch and on-going enhancements that balance responsiveness to customer needs with strategic market impact.
• Encourage data driven product decisions leveraging utilization metrics, user feedback and customer partnership.
• Partner with UX design and engineering teams to ensure the best possible user experiences and customer value.
• Work with product and marketing leadership to develop content, messaging and competitive positioning based on solid value propositions and real world use cases driving sales enablement and existing customer growth.
• Be an advocate for upcoming features, across the organization, and with customers. We expect our PMs to be first class stakeholders in all parts of the planning and execution process.

The skills you'll bring include:

• 3+ years of experience in product management roles
• Experience in cybersecurity or security operations centers
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
• A fast learner with an open-mind to accept, seek and consider opinions from a wide range of stakeholders
• Superb communication abilities that adjust based on the levels of seniority in the business
• Deep empathy for customers and users
