Pendulum empowers companies and governments to uncover, understand, and act on current and potential risks and opportunities contained within narratives. We are building a powerful, multi-medium, always-on narrative and community intelligence platform for our customers, while tackling one of society’s biggest problems - combating harmful mis- and disinformation. We are deeply inspired by our mission, motivated by solving hard technical problems, and obsessed with our customers.
Fulfilling our mission demands bringing together a team with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Diverse teams are the strongest teams because their plurality of experience enriches and expands the solution space and enriches decision-making. Diversity and inclusion are therefore core to our values and at the forefront of our hiring philosophy and day-to-day operations.
The Role at a GlancePendulum is moving beyond "social listening" to define the era of Social Intelligence. We are looking for a senior-level Product Marketer to serve as the bridge between our product’s technical genius and our market’s biggest challenges.
You won’t just be writing copy; you’ll be bringing our products to life. You will own the narrative, arm the sales team with the tools to win, and ensure that every product launch resonates with our B2B audience. If you can translate 'highly technical' into a compelling, human-centric story while managing complex projects across teams, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
What you'll do
- Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary translator between the Product team’s roadmap and the Sales team’s pitch.
- Sales Enablement: Create the "battle cards," pitch decks, and case studies that help our sales team close deals faster and more effectively.
- Messaging & Positioning: Develop and refine the unique value propositions for Pendulum’s offerings to ensure we stand out in a crowded SaaS landscape.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead product launches by project-managing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Market Intelligence: Stay three steps ahead of the competition and keep a pulse on the industry to influence our internal product direction.
- SaaS Native: You have extensive experience in B2B SaaS marketing. At least 4+ years of Product Marketing Management. You understand the nuances of the buyer’s journey and the pressure of a high-growth startup environment.
- Collaborative Powerhouse: You can hold your own in a room (or a Zoom) full of engineers and executives alike. You lead by influence, not just authority.
- The Creative Executioner: You have the vision to dream up a bold campaign, the attention to detail to ensure every word is perfect, and the discipline to meet a deadline.
- Self-Managed: You don't need a babysitter. You are a natural project manager who can keep yourself—and others—on track.
- Adaptable: You move fast. You’re comfortable with "TBD" and "v1" because you know how to iterate toward excellence.
- Grow as a professional by working with emerging technologies in a high-demand industry segment
- Drive company direction at a company that encourages input from all levels to help shape our trajectory
- Experience working at a technology company in which the mission focus is on tackling one of society’s greatest challenges
- Learn from industry and government experts who value initiative and encourage innovation
- Enjoy the flexibility to work remotely, unlimited PTO, company (and two personal-choice) holidays
- Receive excellent benefits, including 100% employer-paid employee health premiums (50% for dependents), 401(k), and FSA
We are an insanely innovative startup transforming how brands understand consumers. As a remote-first company, we value results, autonomy, and the ability to turn social noise into actionable intelligence.
