Summary:

In this role, you will drive product strategy and roadmap execution through advanced backlog management, stakeholder alignment and product vision leadership. You will collaborate with product managers to set product priorities, manage stakeholder interests, and bridge technical and business requirements. You will apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage the backlog, write user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and act as the voice of the customer within the Agile framework. You will translate market insights into actionable requirements, prioritize features, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure cross-functional alignment for successful product development, focusing on business outcomes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and coordinate product backlogs for assigned products.
  • Create product and enhancement release plans and provide final sign off on product releases.
  • Plan and conduct stakeholder and user interviews to gather requirements and understand needs.
  • Create and communicate product value proposition and deliver product demonstrations to stakeholders externally and internally.
  • Ensure product functionality and features meet user and business needs in a cost-effective manner.
  • Interpret data to identify potential business opportunities and make recommendations.
  • Frequently engage with users, business operations, product delivery, and sales channels to maintain a thoughtful backlog prioritization that provides maximum value to product viability and aligned with product strategy.
  • Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, facilitate stakeholder requirements sessions, document current and future-state workflows and data flows, and support UAT validation to ensure solutions align with business goals.
  • Perform product demos, explain complex and technical concepts to different audiences in an approachable way.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry involving Business-to-Business (B2B) data integrations, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and related exchange protocols required.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment required.
  • Experience with Vizient Operational Database or ODB (formerly Action OI) preferred.
  • Experience with Payroll, GL, and other operational and financial data desired.
  • Experience leading multiple teams and large, complex projects desired.
  • Requires strong leadership skills with the ability to manage through influence and persuasiveness.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
