Success in this role requires exceptional project management skills, the ability to lead, influence and collaborate with a cross-functional – and geographically dispersed – team to achieve project goals and objectives, and experience with creating and rolling out a framework that can be used by others to successfully manage projects of varying complexity. The ideal candidate is detail and results-oriented and has experience in managing complex cross-functional projects.

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Backlog and project board management: Own the backlog and project boards within the Project Hub, prioritize backlog in collaboration with department senior leadership, and provide regular report outs of project status, team capacity, and recommended actions for ongoing hygiene and management
  • Project Management:Translate broad program management direction from department senior leadership to implement and roll out a project management framework, including elements such as workflows, templates, tools and scorecards, to enable all teams in the department to successfully and efficiently execute projects in our increasingly complex business.
  • Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement methods to measure adoption and success for each project; report on progress, influence project team members toward accountability, and partner with frontline managers or escalate to senior department leadership when challenges persist; refine and improve the framework over time.
  • Communication:Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners as needed. Listen actively, encourage an open exchange of ideas and opinions and keep stakeholders apprised of project updates.
  • Collaboration:Model and promote collaboration by working with others across the project team, key stakeholders and organization. Collaborate with other project managers to facilitate knowledge-sharing and best practices across teams and inform improvements to the project management framework.
  • Serve as the subject matter resource for program management best practices across the department, proactively identifying gaps in process adherence and bring forward recommendations to improve consistency and outcomes.
